Trav's Coats for Kids

Winter in Tulsa can be harsh, with temperatures averaging just 28°F. Regrettably, many Oklahoma families can't afford coats. That's why Yale Cleaners teams up with News on 6 and First Baptist Tulsa for our 37th Coats for Kids drive.

From November 1st to December 31st, you can make a difference by donating new or gently used coats at any of Yale's 11 convenient locations. Each year, we find that infant and plus-size adult coats are needed most. We'll collect and clean these coats, then First Baptist Tulsa will distribute them to those in need.

Your generous contribution can help warm thousands of hearts, one coat at a time. Join us in making a meaningful impact in our community this winter season.

Start a Coat Drive

Planning your own coat drive? Thank you for partnering with Yale Cleaners and Trav's Coats for Kids to make a difference in keeping Oklahomans warm this winter!

1. Email the details and dates of your coat drive or event to CoatsForKids@yalecleaners.com.

2. DOWNLOAD and print the Trav's Coats for Kids poster to help promote your event.

3. Share information and photos on Yale Cleaners Facebook page or tag us on Instagram.

4. Once your coat drive concludes, send us another email with the count of coats you collected! Please include the name and phone number of a contact person.

5. Drop off the coats you collected at any of Yale Cleaners 11 locations.

If you need a coat, visit the NEW Trav's Coats for Kids Distribution Centers at First Baptist Tulsa (downtown) and the Caring Center South.

Distribution runs from November 14th, 2023 - January 6, 2024.

As a founding partner, Yale Cleaners proudly supports Jenks CarePoint, a Christian-based ministry in collaboration with local businesses and churches. Supporting First Responders

At Yale, it's our privilege to stand alongside our community's first responders year-round. We provide the crucial service of cleaning and sanitizing police body armor for FREE. Additionally, we offer a significant discount of just $3 per item for the cleaning of Police Uniforms, Military Uniforms, Lab Coats, and Scrubs. We stand should to shoulder with those on the front lines, honoring and supporting our local heroes.

Auction Baskets

We deeply appreciate our community and the many donation requests we receive from local schools, churches and nonprofits each year. Annually, we create 12 special gift baskets, each featuring a generous Yale Cleaners gift card, valuable coupons, and an assortment of exclusive Yale Cleaners swag. These tokens of appreciation are thoughtfully presented in our iconic white cowboy hat. Throughout the year, we select different organizations to receive these unique gift baskets.

American Flag Cleaned Free

At Yale Cleaners, we take immense pride in our nation, and to honor that spirit, we offer a special service: the FREE cleaning of one American flag per customer. We believe that our flag, a symbol of unity and freedom, deserves the utmost care and respect. It's a small token of our appreciation for the values it represents and the community we serve.

Band Uniforms

We recognize the importance of looking sharp on the field, which is why Yale Cleaners is proud to offer a special discount for high school and college marching bands. We'll clean each uniform item for just $5.50, significantly lower than our regular rate. It's our way of supporting the dedication and spirit of these talented young musicians.
