Job Summary: As a Professional Seamstress/Tailor at Yale Cleaners, you will be responsible for crafting, altering, and repairing wedding gowns and formal dresses. Your expertise in working with these high end, detailed garments will ensure our clients receive exceptional service and beautifully finished pieces.

Responsibilities:

• Alterations and Repairs: Perform alterations and repairs on wedding gowns and formal dresses, with precision and care.
• Equipment Knowledge: Operate industrial sewing machines, sergers, steamers and presses.
• Fabric and Material Handling: Repair various delicate and luxury fabrics such as silk, satin and lace; replace beads, buttons and sequins with detailed precision.
• Client Consultations: Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide recommendations, and ensure their vision is realized in the final product.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality and craftsmanship throughout the alteration and tailoring processes.
• Timely Delivery: Manage your workload efficiently to ensure timely delivery of garments while maintaining exceptional quality.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience: Proven experience as a seamstress/tailor with a strong portfolio of work, particularly in wedding gowns and formal wear.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and precision in all aspects of garment reconstruction and alteration.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with clients to achieve their desired outcomes.
• Attitude and Professionalism: Ability to maintain a positive attitude, be a team player, and still work independently, always taking pride in your work and your projects.

As a family owned and operated business, we have served the Tulsa area for over 75 years. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Technician. 

Responsibilities: 

• Performing routine maintenance and repairs to dry cleaning machines, washing machines, and pressing equipment
• Maintaining steam boilers and related plumbing
• Refurbishing dry cleaning equipment
• Redesign/engineer equipment for automation and ease to maintain
• Assisting with repairs to buildings and facilities as needed
• Maintaining parts inventory
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience with pneumonic systems, plumbing and electronics
• Experience managing 1-3 employees
• 3 years Mechanical experience or knowledge required
• Knowledge of PLC technology is preferred
• High school education or equivalent (preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Driver's License
• Excellent attention to detail
• Stellar work ethic
• Ability to work both independently and with other members of the team
